Madhurima who started her career with " Aa Okkadu" is on a signing spree. She is now playing a character close to her real life in " Mahankali" which also stars Rajasekhar and is directed by his wife Jevitha. "I am playing an actress in this film," she said, adding, "It deals with glamour and money but at the same time shows how she balances her life."
Madhurima is lucky to have been able to play diverse roles so far in her career. "I Played a doctor in my first film. And then, I was a completely traditional girl in my seconf." she said. Though both these films did not do well at the box office, she did not noticed in "Saradaga Kasepu" which was directed by Vamsi. Madhurima now has three films in her kitty which she says are all performance-oriented. In fact, in "Mhankali", there are no songs. "Rajasekhar and I do not play a couple in the film. It's only permance-oriented and a real life character," she said. In "Anucharudu", however, were she is paired oppisite Tarun, Madhurima will be seen as a stylish, young, modern day girl. "Yes, this charcter is quite different from all the earlier," she said. Yet another film she has signed is oppisite Manchu Manoj.
